“The mansion on a rock” is how this beautiful house is described…..set in the heart of the stunning Conway valley Plas Maenan is but a short drive from where Amy and Sam live, and so made for the perfect choice to hold their wedding day. The weather could not have been better, it was a stunning May day, and with plenty of sun the lovely early summer flowers and a beautiful bride, the stage was set in this idyllic setting for a wedding day to unfold, and with me, as their plas maenan wedding photographer, I was able to capture it in that creative and artistic style that is so distinctively PbArtWorks.
Amy and Sam’s wedding guests had travelled far and wide to attend and added a truly international flavour to the proceedings, with relatives from as far afield as Australia in attendance as well as the USA and various parts of the UK too. They were treated to a lovely occasion with a perfect bride replete in all her finery, from her stunning dress, that had been chosen from Cariad Bride in Abergele, to the gorgeous shoes and delicate flowers from Y Siop Flodau in Llanrwst , Amy was ready to make her entrance. Prior to Amy’s prep shoots I was tasked with meeting Sam and his best man enroute to the venue…this made for some rather interesting pictures, involving a groom, his best man and a train track….scroll down for those pictures, something a little bit different.
I must really pay homage to Amy and Sam and their families, it was a beautiful day…and I felt a real part of their day too, the bantar and the good humour was keeping me on my toes, and the infectious smiles and gentleness this lovely couple demonstrate to one another made my job all that much easier. I am just glad they succumbed to my gentle persuasion to go for “just that one more shot” as I was preparing to leave. It is right towards the end of this blog and I will leave you to decide just which shot…is that one more shot….or perhaps I should say, shots.
Wishing Amy and Sam a wonderful life together on this new adventure called “marriage”…all the very best to you both
